The retail location soon followed, opening mid August 2008 in Sandy, UT (suburb of Salt Lake City). The business was started out of my desire to create a store where customers could feel confident about the ingredients in all of the products available. I had quickly learned during my own search to find natural alternatives for my makeup and body care, just how much "green washing" there is with products being marketed as natural and organic that really aren't...even those sold in health food stores. Many still contain questionable ingredients. At Natural Joy Beauty, we research the ingredients for you, list all ingredients under each product and carefully choose products NOT tested on animals, that DO NOT contain any of the following:
We want to make your shopping experience enjoyable by providing exceptional Customer Service and will continue to add new items to ensure that you come to us for all of your natural cosmetics, body & hair care needs. For your convenience, most of the products we carry are available for purchase in sample sizes. We highly recommended purchasing samples first as being a small business and in an effort to keep cost down, we are typically unable to give refunds unless a product is defective.
